POLICIES

SG International Education accepts no responsibility whatsoever for cases of force majeure (according to law) or for students’ actions. 

You can download or fill out the on-line form on our web page:  www.stgabriel.es

Deposit (€200) should be included (mail us a copy of the bank transfer, or  you can pay by credit card through PayPal).

After we receive your deposit, we will reserve your courses and accommodation.

You will receive the course confirmation(s) and outstanding fees as well as detailed information for your journey and stay by post, fax or e-mail. Approximately 10 days before the course starts and once full payment has been received, SG International Education will send you the accommodation address (if requested) and a map of the city.

The payment can be made via PayPal or by bank transfer to the following Account Number: ES93 2100 7128 3802 0003 7791

 Individual Enrolment 

For bank transfers please send the scanned document and note the name of the participant´s course/programme to facilitate correct payment. 
The remainder of the payment must be made within 20 days in advance of the course/programme start date.

Accommodation payment must be paid in full when booking the course/programme. This payment is non-refundable once Saint Gabriel has sent the confirmation. 


 Enrolment for Groups and Institutions 
For those institutions which manage the course bookings for student groups.

Saint Gabriel will send the relevant invoices for group charges in regard to the courses/programmes and the additional services contracted by the institution. The invoices must be paid within 10 days after issue, therefore the institution group leader is required to give sufficient advance notice for the authorization and issue of the payment by their Finance Department. The payment must be made by bank transfer to the following Account Number: ES93 2100 7128 3802 0003 7791

 LAST MINUTE ENROLMENT

Students who enrol less than 20 days prior to the course starting date are required to pay all fees upon enrolment.

PAYMENT

Please note payments are only accepted in euro € and must be received by us 20 days prior to the course starting date.

2.Please add €15 to cover bank charges. Any excess amount will be refunded when the money arrives. 

Please state your name, type and date of course on all transfer forms.

If you have already paid the deposit by credit card, please note that SG International Education will need further authorisation to charge the remaining fees as well.

  • All credit card payments for accommodation fees are subject to a commission charge of 3% (VISA, MASTERCARD).

*If there are public holidays during your stay in Seville, while you are on your course, then the school will be closed. If this is the case then the student shall no right to any type of financial compensation for this.

Our staff vet and visit all the accommodation that we supply,  to make sure they are fulfill our safety and quality requirements, comfort, cleanliness, and with a good atmosphere. We engage friendly people who will have time for you and will make you feel at home. 
We assign you a family taking your personal preferences into account.

Home stay

If you’re looking for total immersion into Spanish language and culture, we recommend the option of accommodation with carefully selected Spanish families. We arrange your stay according your preferences, do you like animal, are you a vegetarian or kosher/Muslim, do you have allergic to lacoste or coeliac, we care all your needs and requires. 

Apartment and boutique apartment

SG International offers you the opportunity of staying in a typical independent apartment, which lets you get to know a neighborhood in Sevilla. We have apartments in Triana, 10 minutes to the city center.

As well we have apartments close to our center, the public transport in Sevilla is excellent, wherever you stay will be convenient for you to get to your classes.

If you have special needs, and would like to enjoy a higher standard of quality, we offer a selection of boutique apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms.
Also if you come to Seville with a friend or family, this is the perfect choice for you. 

Student residence

Our Spanish student residences have a youthful, international feel and offer you all you’ll need in one building: laundry facilities, TV, prepared meals or shared do-it-yourself kitchens, and areas for studying and socializing. Our student residences in Sevilla offers individual, shared and triple rooms, Wi-Fi, bed linens are provided.

*We can arrange hotel, hostel or university residence hall,  contact us for assistance.

Terms ans conditions

1.    If you want to stay in accommodation organised by the school, we will do everything possible to meet your requirements.  However, where this is not possible, we will give priority to student with medical conditions such as allergies.

2.    Accommodation is only arranged for SG students.  If you leave the school, you will be asked to leave your accommodation.

3.    All accommodation is subject to availability.  Please book early and give a second choice.

4.    Homestay accommodation is only suitable for students who are prepared to adapt to living with Spanish hosts.

5.    All accommodation fees should be paid to the school. 

6.    You must send your all your arrival details as soon as you have made your travel arrangements. If we do not receive your arrival details, your accommodation provider may not be at home when you arrive.

7.    If you are unhappy with your accommodation, you should talk to the Accommodation Manager as soon as possible. If necessary, we will find you new accommodation.  

8.    After 3 requests to change accommodation, SG reserves the right to refuse to provide further accommodation.

9.    Students who do not behave reasonably in their accommodation will be asked to leave and find their own accommodation.

10. While every effort will be made to ensure you are happy with your accommodation, SG cannot guarantee you can stay with one accommodation provider throughout your stay. Changes may occur because of emergencies or upon rebooking or extending your course.

11. If you go on holiday during your course, you will have to pay for your accommodation while you are away, unless you cancel your accommodation completely. 

12.  If you decide to leave your accommodation early, you must give two weeks’ notice in writing.  Accommodation refunds will only be made for full calendar weeks.

13. You are responsible for any damage you cause in your accommodation and must pay the accommodation provider for any repairs / replacement of broken articles.

14. If you book your own accommodation, instead of SG school accommodation, you must give your address and contact phone number to the Administration team.  Please advise the Administration team of any further changes in your contact details. 

VISA POLICIES

  1. Students from the European Union do not require a visa to enter Spain. Students from other countries must enquire about obtaining a visa at the Spanish embassy or consulate in their country.
  2. The certificate certifying enrolment (invitation letter) can ONLY be issued by the school when the enrolment form and a copy of the passport have been received and full payment of the programme has been received via bank transfer. 
  3. Once the visa has been obtained, SG International Education will inform the embassy or consulate if the course is cancelled by student.
  4. If students have to cancel due to visa denial, they must send an official original certified document directly from the Spanish embassy. We will charge an administrative fee to cover the administrative costs of returning your money.

The cancellation of enrolment registration for an individual client on a course/programme must be made by the person enrolling by means of an email addressed to admision@stgabriel.es 

For group bookings, the named person of the institution managing the project or the individual designated and authorised by the institution will be in charge of notifications of modification or cancellation.

CANCELATION CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS

  1. Cancellations up to 30 days prior to the course/programme will be refunded at a rate of 80% of the contracted course/programme price. This excludes management charges, which can be up to 20% of the course/programme.
  2. Cancellations 15 days prior to the course/programme will be refunded at rate of 50% of the contracted course/programme price.
  3. Cancellations made less than 15 days in advance of the course/programme will not have the right of refund for any of the services contracted.
  4. Accommodation services, whatever their form, are non-refundable once they have been contracted.
  5. Students who start but do not finish their programme will not be reimbursed any course fees.

*Refunds will be made by electronic transfer to the client who made the payment within 15 working days prior to the end of the course/programme.

Cancellation or Modification policy for Groups 

In the case of the number of student participants changing during the process of negotiation Saint Gabriel can modify the invoice issued up to 20 days in advance of the start of course/programme. However, if the group has a percentage discount in regard to the number of participants this quantity of discount may change.

Deadlines for the cancellation of courses/programmes will be the following:

  • 30 November for projects which are to be implemented in the first term of the following year.
  • 30 March for courses/programmes which are to be implemented in June or July.
  • 30 June for courses/programmes which are to be implemented during the last term of the natural business year, i.e. during October, November and December.​
  • Cancelation policy for flights please check your airline carrier cancelation policy.

OTHER RELEVANT POLICIES

1. ACCOMMODATION

  1. The student will be charged for the replacement of broken items due to either negligence or by intention.
  2. If there is damage and no one is directly responsible, the cost of repairs will be divided among all the students in the apartment or residence.
  3. In the case of a serious disciplinary offence or repeated bad behaviour, the student will be expelled from the accommodation contracted with SG  International Education without the right to any refund.
  4. In high season, the apartments and student residences may be substituted by another type of accommodation at a corresponding price.
  5. If you reserve a shared double room (shared with another student) and there is no other student with whom you can share the room, we reserve the right to change your room at any time.
  6. Accommodation payment must be paid in full when booking the course/programme. This payment is non-refundable once Saint Gabriel International Education has sent the confirmation.

2. CLASS

  1. In the exceptional case that only one or two students are enrolled in a course in the same level group, SG International Education reserves the right to change a group course into a private or semi-private programme. In this case, class hours will be reduced by 50%.
  2. SG International Education management reserves the right to extend the timetable for classes.

3. HOLIDAYS

  1. Please check our web site for updated holidays as they may be subject to change before planning your trip.
  2. SG International Education is not obliged to refund or make up any classes missed due to national or local holidays. 

4. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

  1. Course verification will only be issued to students who attend at least 80% of their classes, complete their work or other activities.
  2. This certificate is not valid as an official document in accordance with the legislation regulating non-accredited education. It is a personalised certificate of attendance.

5. SUBSTITUTION POLICY

  1. If the person enrolled cannot participate in the course/programme due to unforeseen circumstances and prior notice of at least 10 days in advance of the start date is given then another person can substitute, or an offer of an alternative date can be made if available. In this case the substitute person or date arrangement can be made without penalty.
  2. In the case of a substitution, the person who is attending instead of the original student must complete the registration enrolment for the new dates via the website, subject to confirmation of availability.

6. EVENT CANCELATION POLICY 

SG International Education reserves the right of delay or even cancel an event if there are not enough students.

8. EXPULSION

  1. SG International Education  reserves the right to cancel the student’s place if on the day of their arrival they or their agency have not paid the total sum of the course, accommodation and other services contracted.
  2. In the case of a serious disciplinary offence, repeated bad behaviour or infringement of the laws of the country in which the course is taking place, the student will be expelled from the school and without the right to any refund.
  3. In the case where harm is caused to third parties, all the expenses claimed from  SG International Education that originate from the above-mentioned incident will be charged to the student, who will have no right to later claims.

9. ACCEPTANCE OF GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THE WEBSITE – Privacy policy

In accordance with article 5 of the law 15/1999, regulating the Collection and Protection of Personal Data, the personal data that you provide to us will be included in a file is named “CLIENT” belonging to GRUPO PETANWEN S.L (Former name: EL PROPIETARIO DE LA WEB). Generally, we collect and use personal data to create a customer database to provide services to you.We only collect data that you choose to give us. If you refuse to supply the requested data we can not complete the service. You have the right to access, rectify, cancel and object, as determined by the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, at the following address: GLORIETA ALCADE FERNANDO DE  PARIAS MERRY S/N LOCAL , SEVILLA, or call: 954611295. Your data may be used for promotional purposes, advertising and marketing of products and services we provide. If you do not consent to this, you can indicate that by email to the following address: administrar@stgabriel.es,  according to the article III, article 22 of the law 34/2002 of Information Society Services and E-Commerce.  

Both companies will treat the data confidentially and with the sole purpose of offering the requested services, in accordance with all the legal and security guarantees that the Organic Law 15/1999,  of December 13th, on Personal Data Protection, Royal Decree, of December 21st and the law 34/2002, of July 11th, of Information Society Services and E-Commerce.  

THE OWNER OF THE WEBSITE, as the article 9.1, of the law Protection of Personal Data states, takes appropriate technical and organisational information security measures for guaranteeing the security of the personal data and avoid their alteration, loss, non-authorised processing or access, taking into account the nature of the technology, the stored data and the risks that they are exposed to, if it is originated from human action or by physical or natural way. ”

Also THE OWNER OF THE WEBSITE, as article 10 of the law of Protection of Personal Data, anyone who intervenes in any phase of the processing of personal data is obliged to maintain professional secrecy with respect to CLIENT and their duty to store it. These obligations continue to exist even after the relationship with the data subject or their representative, as the case may be, ends.

Furthermore, according to the article 89.2, Royal Decree 1720/2007, of December 21st, approving the Development Regulation of the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th, Personal Data Protection Act, THE OWNER OF THE WEBSITE shall adopt the necessary measures so that people understand the security regulations that affect the performance of their functions as well as the consequences that may arise in the event of non-performance.

10. IMAGE COPYRIGHT 

SG International Education takes pictures and videos of students, teachers and school staff during the activities,  academic programme, culture programme and social-sports events. Images may be used for advertising brochures, the website, social networks, Christmas cards, posters, end of course performances and school promotions. It is understood that authorisation for the use of said images is given to “GRUPO PETANWEN S.L.” to use for promotional purposes and such publications will be made publicly available.

Furthermore, the personal image is used to identify you as an individual, within the scope of the application of the regulation of data protection. Thus, you have the right to exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection to the person in charge of the file. By your signature you hereby authorise that SG International Education has the right to use your image in the processes described above, over a period of three years, starting from the date of enrolment, without any additional payment by SG International Education, which belongs to Grupo Petanwen S.L.

Attention:  External/third party travel and flight arrangement bookings made via agencies or carriers outside of Saint Gabriel courses/programmes bookings are not included in Saint Gabriel’s Cancellation Policy.

Saint Gabriel offers a 24-hour emergency phone contact and personal support representative in our city for all groups so that you, your families or Groups Leaders will always be able to get in touch with us.​
